Tino Kasi was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe and studied law combined with business studies at the University of Staffordshire in England before immigrating to Canada in 2004. Following this, she graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law in 2007 and was called to the Bar in 2008.

Her practice is primarily focused on insurance and commercial litigation matters, including marine accidents, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, farm accidents, coverage opinions, property damage, product liability, environmental liability, professional liability, accident benefits and inter-insurer disputes.

Tino has extensive trial experience, including complex jury trials. She has represented insurers, corporations and individuals at trial and complicated motions on a number of areas of the law including medical practice, rental, auto and employment sectors.

Ila was raised in the GTA and moved to London following her call to the bar in 2017. She previously attended York University and graduated summa cum laude with an Honours BA in in Philosophy and English Literature in 2013, then earned her law degree from the University of Toronto in 2016 and articled with a large national firm.

Ila’s practice involves acting for insurers in a variety of disputes including motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability claims, professional liability, and coverage issues. She has appeared on matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court.

Before joining Kasi Law, she represented corporate clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters including shareholder and partnership disputes, class actions defence, property disputes, and labour and employment law..
